Over 180 families participated in a year-long series of fun and educational programs revolving around the theme of Shabbat. It drew the interest of so many because of the secular, mainstream programming through which they were offered. (eg: sushi-making; meditation and relaxation; wine-tasting, etc). These programs culminated in a communal Shabbat dinner in June, where entire families came together (sometimes with extended family in tow) to enjoy songs, stories and laughter.
